精巣生検における Johnsen のスコア

　不妊治療の男性側因子の検索目的になされる精巣生検において、増精能の量的な評価を行うためのスコアである Johnsen’s score を示します。

● Johnsen's score

Score 10	Complete spermatogenesis with many spermatozoa (spermatozoa are here defined as cells having achieved the small head form of the spermatozoon). 　 Germinal epithelium organized in a regular thickness leaving an open lumen. 完全な数多くの精子のある造精機能を認め、精細胞層が厚く正しく配列し、精細管の内腔は開いている
Score 9	Many spermatozoa present but germinal epithelium disorganized with marked sloughing or obliteration of lumen. 　多くの精子が認められるが、精細胞配列が不規則で内腔が狭い
Score 8	Only few spermatozoa (<5-10) present in section. 　精細管内にわずかな精子(5～10個)が認められる
Score 7	No spermatozoa but many spermatids present. 　精子は認められないが、精子細胞は多数認められる
Score 6	No spermatozoa but only few spermatids (<5-10) present. 　精子は認められず、精子細胞はわずかに（5～10個）認められる
Score 5	No spermatozoa, no spermatids but several or many spermatocytes present. 精子および精子細胞は認められないが、少数~多数の精母細胞が認められる
Score 4	Only few spermatocytes (<5) and no spermatids or spermatozoa present. 　精子・精子細胞は認められず、精母細胞はわずかに(5個未満)認められる
Score 3	Spermatogonia are the only germ cell present. 　精祖細胞のみ認められる
Score 2	No germ cells but Sertoli cells are present. 　精細胞はみとめず、セルトリ細胞のみ認める
Score 1	No cells in tubular section. 　線維成分のみで細胞組織はない
